Manufacturers do change their product formulas.
Ingredient labels will be reviewed each year for changes. The Food Service Department would like to remind you to make sure your child’s lunch account has a positive or zero balance. Your child’s account balance will graduate by grade and school each school year and it will help your child if there is a positive balance in their account for the first few days of the new school year.
If you have a student graduating or moving out of the school district please download the lunch account refund/transfer form and submit to the food service department (address on form) so you may receive a check for any balance remaining in the account. You may, also, elect to transfer funds from your child’s account to other sibling’s accounts or donate the balance to a needy student in our schools.
Planning an event at one of our schools? We can take care of your food service and catering needs! Review and fill out our Catering Function Packet. The Request Form/Packet must be returned at least 10 days in advance to the Food Service Department - 1415 81st Ave. NE, Spring Lake Park, MN 55432. The application for "Educational Benefits" (free or reduced-price school meals) for the 2011-2012 school-year is now available:
After you have filled out the application, please mail or drop off at:
Spring Lake Park Schools Food Service Department
District Services Center 1415 81st Ave, NE

Educational benefits (free or reduced-price meals) can be applied for year-round.
Many of our school district families take advantage of a program offering free or reduced prices for school meals. Some families qualify for this program because their household income has always or generally been below a given level. Others have taken advantage of this program because their household income is temporarily below a given level.
If your family qualifies, breakfast for your children is provided free of charge, and lunch is either free or 40 cents.
If you're not sure if you would qualify, if you have questions, or if you could use some help in filling out the form, do not do not hesitate to ask for assistance in the main office of your child's school, or at the District Services Center.
Authorization to Release Educational Benefits Eligibility
To have the athletic, fine arts or other program fees associated with Spring Lake Park School District/Community Education waived or reduced, a parent/guardian must apply for and be approved for free or reduced lunches (application above). It is necessary to reapply for this benefit each school year. The form below should be completed and returned to the Food Services Department located at 1415 - 81st Ave. NE in Spring Lake Park.
