The Mission of the Westwood Intermediate School Media Program is to:

Provide students with the skills necessary to be intelligent consumers of information
Foster a life-long habit of reading for pleasure and information
Provide staff with technology and curriculum support

Policies and Procedures

Maximum checkout	3 books
Loan Period	2 weeks
Renewals	As needed as long as the book has not been reserved
Overdues	No fines are assessed, but students may not check out further books until overdues have been cleared
Book fines	Students are responsible for the care of books checked out on their library card. Fines are accessed for replacement of damaged or lost books
